The board and founding members of The Kappa Foundation of Columbia, SC understands that the day to day demands of our society requires that all of America's children must have access to higher education if our community is to sustain and advance itself. Our future and quality of life depends upon the preparation of a diverse cadre of leaders who can help build a stronger community. These potential leaders, especially those drawn from groups that have traditionally and historically been denied access to higher education, require the necessary support and opportunities to earn and complete a college education. Each year Kappa Foundation scholarships enable high school students who have demonstrated leadership potential and require financial assistance to attend the college or university of their choice. For more than two generations the founders of The Kappa Foundation of Columbia, SC have dedicated their lives to supporting youth in our community. The foundation is committed to the vision of providing scholarships for students who choose to further their education beyond high school. We recognize that deserving students must have the financial support to pursue their dreams of obtaining a college education. Your donation to the foundation's campaign is more than a contribution to provide scholarships --it's an opportunity to change a life!
